Hello!

Hello!

My name is Zachary Zebrowitz. I’m a New York City-based filmmaker and NYU Tisch alum, dedicated to crafting films that blends poetic storytelling with visual finesse.

My journey in the arts, starting at the age of 13, has been an exploration of human experiences and emotions, captured through the lens of metaphorical, slow, and contemplative narratives. My body of work, including award-winning shorts like "Sonder," "Red Skies," and the soon-to-be-released "Evergreen," reflects a deep commitment to storytelling that resonates on a universal level.

With a BFA from NYU Tisch in Film and Television, my approach to filmmaking is deeply rooted in a blend of academic rigor and creative innovation. I excel in screenwriting, directing, and producing, with a knack for leading diverse and dynamic teams. My filmography, encompassing several short films, four pilots, and three features, showcases my versatility and ability to engage with a wide range of themes, genres, and mediums.

As a filmmaker, my ambition is to continue pushing the boundaries of narrative cinema, creating works that not only entertain but also provoke thought and emotional connection. My passion for film is matched by my commitment to collaboration, as I believe in the power of collective creativity to bring visionary stories to life.
